Q & A
What's your favorite genre to write? Mostly children's books and young adult speculative fiction--you can do ANYTHING in these genres! What do you do when not writing? Walk. Read. I also dabble in visual arts (painting, paper art, collage, photography)--most of the images on this site are my own creations. I love combining writing with images--yay blogs! What are your favorite books/authors? Seriously? How do you answer a question like that?? Some recent books that I loved were by Terry Farish and Padma Venkatraman. I will read anything by Laini Taylor, Jane Austen, Robin McKinley, Elizabeth Lim. Do you have any writing bad habits? I'm usually organized, so it drives me crazy that I'm always writing down ideas on any random piece of paper and then I have to sort through all the scribbled notes I write, piles and piles of them. I'm always trying to sort them and add them to their corresponding document. And after get them all cleaned up, I promise myself I won't do it anymore, but I still do! Okay, on to the important question: What animal do you most resemble? Hmmm...maybe a mouse? Something with tiny hands. No, more like a T-Rex: little hands and arms, but a with an ability to power sprint. And if I were a T-Rex, I'd be a T-Rex-Cat mash-up, like the one I made for my second book, because I think "T-Rex-Cat" is a perfect way to sum up my personality: lots of roaring and then spending the rest of the day napping. |
